We develop spatial strategies and tactical solutions for cities and hromadas. Our work begins where urban planning meets the real needs of people — we analyse spatial potential, study demographic trends, and explore the needs of residents and local businesses to help transform cities into inclusive and resilient places.
We approach cities and hromadas as one system, from ecology and infrastructure to local economies and cultural heritage. In our projects, we address both urgent needs (such as optimizing school networks) and long-term challenges, for example how climate change will impact urban space over the coming decades.
The Restart team consists of urban planners, researchers, economists, and sociologists who have delivered sustainable solutions for more than 20 territories across Ukraine. We believe that the most effective spatial transformations happen when hromadas proactively participate in shaping them. That’s why we support local champions in finding their own development path, grounded in data, expert analysis, and a shared vision for the future.
